| Immediate HealthCare, a walk-in urgent care center, has provided medical care by skilled physicians and nurse practitioners since opening in Cape Girardeau in 1995. That Cape office was recently sold to St. Francis Medical Center. The newer Perryville office opened in March of 2008.
Our Owner, Robb R. Hicks, M.D. was previously a full-time emergency department physician. In addition to his expertise in emergency medicine, Dr. Hicks is also an experienced general practitioner. Additionally, Dr. Hicks spent several weeks studying at the University of Cincinnati, where he received intensive specialized training in Occupational and Environmental Medicine. Finally, after a 300-hour training course in San Francisco, Dr. Hicks now practices acupuncture, specifically auriculotherapy, or acupuncture of the ear. |
